About KABOCHON
Founded in 2010, KABOCHON is a boutique fine jewellery brand based in Singapore - born from passion, nurtured with craft, and grown through the trust of a loyal community. We create both ready-to-wear collections and one-of-a-kind bespoke pieces, always with the belief that jewellery should feel as good as it looks.
' A passion project that grew into Singapore's boutique gem'
Our designs are made in 18k gold and feature a rich palette of diamonds (from classic whites to champagne and black), vibrant coloured gemstones, South Sea pearls, opals, and more. Influenced by global motifs - think arabesque details, oriental symbols, jade, and the ever-stylish evil eye - every piece is made in small quantities with love, care, and attention to detail.
Behind the sparkle, we're committed to quality and ethics. All our jewellery is made by master craftsmen using responsibly sourced gems. We work with trusted small-scale suppliers who share our values, and gemological certificates (GIA, etc.) are provided for jewellery pieces with precious gems and solitaire diamonds.

Meet Karin
I'm Karin Majdalany - the heart and hands behind KABOCHON. My journey into fine jewellery wasn't exactly a straight line… it started with a degree in Mathematics at Oxford, a career in accounting and banking in London, and then a leap into motherhood and ended up here in wonderful Singapore. Along the way, I discovered my true passion: creating jewellery that feels personal, edgy, and a little bit magical.
What began over a decade and a half ago with charity necklaces has grown into KABOCHON, a boutique brand offering both ready-to-wear pieces and bespoke designs in 18k gold, diamonds, and gems. I believe fine jewellery should be wearable, feel-good, and never intimidating - whether it's a personalised necklace, a milestone gift, or a sparkling treat for yourself.
My multicultural roots (Lebanese-Czech, London-raised, now Singapore-based) inspire everything I design - blending East and West, classic and modern, subtle and statement. I am sincerely grateful to my clients for their trust and loyalty over the years. Seeing them genuinely happy with their jewellery is one of the most rewarding experiences for me - it's a feeling words can't fully capture.
Day to day, on the run, I'm usually in my diamond studs and my beloved simple yellow gold chain and gem cross necklace - but don't be fooled! My Lebanese bling side loves to come out at night and for glam lunch dates, with plenty of sparkle.
At the heart of it all, I'm a people person: I treasure the connections made through KABOCHON as much as the jewels themselves.
